Nik joined Liquor Licensing Bureau early 2001, setting up the South Island office in Arrowtown near Queenstown.
Consultancy and mediation are the priority.
Nik was the Liquor Licensing Inspector in Palmerston North for nearly 10 years. Prior to this, Nik gained considerable experience in the hospitality industry in Palmerston North and his native Australia working in large resorts, restaurants, hotels and taverns.
During his time as Liquor Licensing Inspector, Nik was involved in training in the Sale of Liquor Act 1989 and Host Responsibility and developed an extensive and thorough knowledge of the Act. Nik was the technical writer for a national training course and was an author for the Brooker’s text, New Zealand Guide to Food and Liquor Management?
Nik is well known and regarded by those in the liquor licensing field and other organisations such as the Hospitality Association of New Zealand, Alcohol Advisory Council of New Zealand and the Liquor Licensing Authority.
